At just 23, I became director of operations for the Congressional Black Caucus and the youngest caucus director in the 118th and 119th Congress. This role allowed me to mobilize the work of 62 congressional offices and more than 500 staffers. During my tenure, I organized 45 official and unofficial events across the House and Senate, from high-profile policy forums to strategy sessions, each designed to strengthen relationships, elevate Black voices in policymaking and advance the "Conscious of the Congress."
